What to Expect on Sunday Morning

The practice of gathering on Sunday morning is the heart of our life together.

We gather at 10:30 each Sunday to pray, sing, listen to scripture, share in the meal, and enjoy coffee together after the service.

Visitors are always welcome; we would love to have you join us.

Our worship expression is a combination of traditional and contemporary elements, including prayer, music, and story. Our worship is liturgical, which means it follows the ancient ritual patterns of the early church adapted for our contemporary context. If liturgical worship is new to you, it can take some getting used to, but participating in the ritual rhythm of liturgical worship regularly can become a grounding spiritual practice.

Communion: Open Table

Everyone is welcome to participate in communion, including children. We use bread and wine or grape juice for communion; if you need a gluten free wafer, please indicate this to the pastor when you come forward to receive the bread.

For more information, please reach out to Pastor Leanne.

Infants and Children in Worship

As full members of our community, infants and children are invited to participate in Sunday morning worship. We often call on our children to help lead and to serve communion.

Children are invited to sit with our youth and family leaders at the front of the sanctuary during worship. They will participate in a children’s sermon and themed activity.

Parents should feel free to feed their infants as necessary in our worship space, and to come and go from the service as needed. A change table can be found at the back of the church in the “Hospitality Room.”

A toddler play area is located at the front of the sanctuary.

Sunday morning children’s activities compliment our Footpaths After-School Camp on Wednesdays.
