Spring Concert for Trillium Choral Scholars

The opera students of Wilfrid Laurier University will be performing The Marriage of Figaro March 13-16. You can see choral scholars Emmanuel and Emily in their cast on Friday, March 14th at 7:30pm, and Sunday, March 16th at 3pm.

The comedic opera The Marriage of Figaro is one of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s most performed operas and among the most well-known operas in the world. It follows the story of servants Susanna and Figaro trying to get married despite the wishes of their employer Count Almaviva, who wishes to have Susanna for himself. The servants work with Countess Almaviva, the Count’s wife, to trick the Count and teach him a lesson in fidelity. The opera is a combination of beautiful music, powerful drama, and a whole lot of laughs.

Tickets are $30 general admission, $22 for seniors, and free for all university students and anyone under 18. They can be purchased via these links:
